Last night i was laughed at by some youths that probably still ride mopeds. The exact comment was ''Hahaha, he's driving an estate'' Wouldn't mind but its a bloody Touring. I felt rather annoyed afterwards.

my 'old estate' (with grandad spec towbar) gets the same comments sometimes, i just snigger to myself knowing that it'll definately rape any car they, or any of their mates, or their mate mates older brothers etc owns :D

the usual, "is it a 16 valve mate" gets the answer "no, only 12". they never mentioned cc's winkeye

a perfect excuse to fit a high power engine to leave them standing. imagine the shame as they make excuses to their mates as to why the 20 year old estate left them standing at the lights.

I had a 325i tourer as a daily for a while,

it was fun watching the faces on unsuspecting chavs at the lights, as I dusted their saxo/corsa or whatever shite they were driving :D

true sleepers ...

alas with 'only' 220bhp, mine isn't quite as savage as yours was, but it looks a lot less 'special' than yours so could really take people by suprise. the two cossies i overtook through the foxhole on the ring were suitably suprised. served many a scooby it's arse on a plate before now too

one of life's simple pleasures :D

wash your mouth out with soap! :D
i personally prefer the look of the touring to all other E30's (inc the M3).
the only one that would look better in my eyes would be a properly done 2 door M3 touring

Try driving a half-timbered estate (Minor Traveller) then. Oh well, at least mine has a 1275cc MG Midget engine and close-ratio box to give some folk a surprise...

ollie, that took you 2 mins! 8O :D that was the coachbuilt version, made before BMW did one themselves. uses a mk1 golf tailgate iirc.

re the M3 touring, this one is nice, but still a 4 door

I think something like 6 or 7 of them were done. Drip's has the full BBS kit on it.

When someone slates a touring of just think of that prick who raced Si at the pod with his M3 turbo.

Dan,
Just went through your recent threads (stalker?) and ive seen you have had some probs with my old tourer..

You should have PMd me, i can sort it all easily.
The only reason i didnt sort it was i needed it gone in a hurry.

Let me know if you need help with lumpy running, poor starting ect..
And its a low comp engine btw from a 1990 car.
