AFAIK ix is 4wd, but I dont think they would do a 'sport' in 4wd
In fact I think the 325i sport was a uk only model???
Does it have black headling (the stuff above your head when you sit in the car) a 3.91 LSD (get under the car and read the tag - should say S 3.91) sport gearbox, mapreading lights etc etc?
I'm guessing either
a) its not a sport but has sport spec
or
b) he's a bullshiting twat

325ix are rare, but 325ix sport i think he is talking out of his rse,
i`ve certainly never heard of one

If I were you I'd steer clear. I had a 525IX and found that spares were difficult to get hold of except through a franchised dealer and very expensive. For example the front shocks are different to any other model & try getting hold of a front driveshaft in a hurry. With so many unique parts it can only spell expensive trouble.
very, very true they are rare, im only thinking about buying it to make a few quid but like i said i just wanted to know if it was worth it, i said to him are you sure this is a sport mate, he said you cant even find this car on a web search, they were only made in france??? well surley if this is the case i would be able to find it on a web search what makes the french cars so difficult to find, i just think the car doesnt exsist!!! thanks anyway fellas, i think ill keep awayjetsam wrote:If I were you I'd steer clear. Weren't all the UK 325iX's lhd drive. Might be worth getting the last 7 digits of the VIN and seeing what a dealer can tell you about the original spec, might get something even if it's not a UK car.
My guess would be that the car is a 325iX with some Sport-like extras (Recaros, M-Tech gearknob, etc.)
I thought also the iX's had different type of diff so you wouldn't find an lsd marked up in the same way.
