2.7 ETA Engine - whats it worth?

Just interested to know how much a good 2.7 ETA engine goes for complete with gearbox.

gearbox is auto I presume? It should be, so not worth alot of anything, if you strip the engine and prove its a good'un with an inspection and have a bit of history for it then you may get £200 at a struggle.

but the crank will sell as much as the whole engine if not more

as people can see how good the crank is easly

keep the crank and rods and sling the rest is what i did.

But £200-250 for short motor if bores/pistons/crank are good

200 quid - you're having a laugh surely - i would rather blow the crap out of it.

engine is good and is on a manual box.

I know the internals are worth good money - was just interested thats all - not for sale at present anyway
