light up in the dark?
I don't have any pics and the car is getting sprayed at the moment so I can't get any until it comes back.
It's supposed to light up, but the bulb must be off because it doesn't.
Actually...... I'm sure someone posted a pic a few pages back in this thread.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

Mine looks the same as that because I fitted the LHD frame so I could have the plug in the passenger side.
My apologies to the poster for nicking his pic.
I assume it lights nice in the dark? Thinking of ordering one, 10 quid from stealers

Eh? I'm confused now.
Light-up gear knob?? I posted the pic because it has the non-smoker pack in...... The coin tray and plug in place of the ashtray and lighter. The tray has orange lights in and mine don't work.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

Rarest has to be a car with the original glovebox torch or a full set of tools.
I've got the full first-aid kit and warning triangle.
Mines got the full tool kit, wheel chock, glovebox torch and map reading mirror and a brand new 15inch bbs with original tyre, never been used

I think that it's the "metal" key that starts the engine and opens doors (if it's not double-locked), but does not open bootlid and glovebox.
My car has four "different" keys as standard.

I had the one with light and snapped it in a lock at a car show.
Dad walked up to a car thinking it was his at the time and well heavy handed first turn it snapped stood back n look and wasnt his so left a note saying he would pay for the lock and his number .
Is the round one chauufers key if not wats the point of it cant bloody open the boot.
Why is the little one little is there a special place for it?

Is it just me, or does even the
plastic boot liner get rusty in the E30? I know they're bad for it, but ffs, thats just taking the p!ss....[/u]
