Wow its like the old zone is back again!
Ultimatly 200bhp per tonne is enough and my target, but I know it won't satisfy me for long.
I said I'd be happy with 170bhp then things spiraled out of control then I bought Adams 2.8 and I thought that was enough, several wallets later and I'm here.DanThe wrote:Quality doesn't need rebuilding every few thousand miles though fuzzyfuzzy wrote:225 bhp eh? i cant imagine having such a slow car....

it does get expensive, you need to draw a line at some stagemarch109 wrote: Doesn't matter whose rollars I put it on someone is gonna call it bullshit, someone always does.
But I'll be happy to see 225 which is all that counts. Its working out at about £125 per 1 bhp at the moment. I would love to see more but I'm not getting my hopes up, although its running horribly rich at the moment and on shite fuel when its mapped for 99RON.
i'm bored with the compact already......DanThe wrote:Trust me, it wont. Mine is 210BHP per tonne and im bored after only a few months, just coming up to 3k miles on the fresh engine
been offered cams today and BBTB, combined with a working vanos i'l get 15 to 20 hp more, and i think is it actaully worth it

Wielding such instant power must be a heady experience indeed! I would wear a cape whenever logged in on the zone if I were a mod.
But I'm not a mod alas, so I'll stick with the scuba flippers for now.
Cheers pal!

Good to see that the zone is big enough to welcome back previously banned members, trust that all concerned will play/post by the same rules that the rest of us keep to.
Our common interest, afterall,is in using and maintaining/restoring elderly cars, not sniping and scoring points off those less articulate than ourselves.
