why the he would you want to go back to 14" bbs when you've got a set of borbet a's??
thats right i reckon you should stick with the borbets.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

sorry dude my mistake,
reading your first post i thought you did have a set, if you can get hold of some then go for them as they look better than 14" bbs.

I'm guessing that the dilemma comes from a set of new Borbets with tyres costing more than you paid for the car ?
The borbets do look good if you like that sort of thing - if all the cars on the zone were on 15" BBS it would be very dull - even though they are the best looking standard OE wheel IMO.
14" BBS to me just look too small - I'd rather have 14" bottletops than 14" BBS.

I went for the BBS, for the simple reason that when I bought my car (about 10 years ago) they had flatulant 3 spoke alloys on them. Looked cool innit bruv. I think the popularity of the Borbets is more of a 'fashion statement' in the same way that my original 3 spoke horrors were.
I think really, that you should check your bank balance and make up your own mind

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Borbets would be my pick. The ones in your photos don't look right on the front though IMO. Seems to be the wrong offset

, the rears look great.

I personally thinks the borbets look good on a car that has blacked out grill windows and headlights and a few other like big exhaust, clear indicators, painted mirrors and handles ect ect ect... But if your car looks relatively stock I think the borbets might look a bit off..
On your car I like the BBSs

I know I'm an old TOG but 15" BBS's are the business even if they are a pain in the arse to clean. They just look right.
Them other thing's? To me they look council!

In agreement there with you. BBS in 15" or 16" are just devine to look at.

The BBS are the best looking wheels...especially on an E30 and even better if they are 15" (for a 4-stud hub)...
Personally don't like those Borbet rims and I'm not a fan of stretched tyres...not least cos of how it affects the handling!
If I were you, I'd keep the 14" BBS and spend the money you save on fixing up that front n/s wing and front valance!
