Hi guys!

Has anyone done the above/ is it possible to mount the M Coupe suspension and diff in a E30? What mods are required to fit it in and still retain the E30's 4-hole wheels???

I have the MCoupé stuff in mine. It's not an easy or cheap swap by any means. And no, you wont be able to retain 4 stud wheels. You will need E36 offset wheels.

Okay, i'm with you on the offset wheels, and i thought the diff was a very very tall ratio (suitable for a 1:1 top gear)???

But i thought the overall diemensions/basic geometry of the Z3 was the same as the E30???

If you could shed some light on the setup i would be hugely thankful.

Cheers

Thanks guys for the reply. I think then I'll have to can any thought of doing the mod. Just thought that this would be a bit easy to do. Not in the position to spend any more molla on my old girl, missus complaining!!!
Perhaps, I'll just got for E36 rack, Bilstein shocks, eibach springs, replace odd bushings, sway bars and the lady should be able to hold her own aroung the odd bend...

Dont want to spend any money on her with a bilsein/eibach setup?

I guess you've told the missus that these are the cheap end of the market then winkeye

Good luck with it.
