This weather it's a constant pain to keep wiping bugs/moths/flies off the front of my E30 after even a short run.

Any tips to get them off easily and stop them sticking next time?

Bain of my bloody life.

In reference to your other thread since you don't like driving your e30, why not leave it on your drive and just appreciate its photogenic qualities? No splattered shite on your screen and less shite for you to chat about. Win win situation in my book :thumb:

Take your missus Polo instead.

Or do the bugs sail straight over due to the aerodynamics of the wonderful turd?

Carnauba wax - bugs come off easier if they're stuck to wax, not paint.

On a related note - how do I get rid of the pair of spiders that live in each of my wing-mirrors? Every morning I find fresh cobwebs on them, and it's not like they're interested in eating the pre-splatted bugs mentioned above.. :D

Next time you are near an air line, give 'em a blast behind the mirror. Works wonders winkeye

Spray on some pre diluted shampoo solution from a garden sprayer, this should soften the baked on squished bugs, don't use one of those sponges as stated above, it will just inflict scratches in your paintwork, totally un neccesary. If they still won't shift, clay bar is the best bet. if the paint is polished and sealed/waxed bugs will come off easier in the future.

Microfibre cloth, wet with decent car shampoo (not one with traffic film remover(dulls laquer))

Wet area first, leave couple of minutes, gently wipe away with cloth. No scratches.
