Hi guys,

Today i recieved my engine mounts from Beefy - Top quality goods and very happy with them! :D

Only 'problem' i seem to have found is that the standard mount on the passenger side has a hole thru it which the dip stick tube passes thru... BUT my new mount doesnt???

Can anyone shed light on this? Is my 'E34' engine not an E34 engine? Do i require a different setup I.E. another sump with relocated dipstick???

I can modify the mount no problem but seem to think something is different with my engine?

Cheers, Mark

Take some pic's and post em if your not sure, Some one will point out the error.

Its possible but the 4 holes on the mount match up perfectly with the ones by the dip stick tube? Maybe im being stupid but there dont appear to be another set of holes???

Im sure someone has encountered this?

Have you removed the mount that secures the manifold to the block ??? This is where you might be going wrong.

Your mounts should share the same bolt hole as the support barcket for the manifold.
If not, its too far forward then.

You move it back onto the next set of holes, you need to undo the manfold support put the mount on then the support goes on top of it

Just get it in there and get driving. Btw there is a m30 guide in the engine swap's and forced induction forum. Plenty of tip's and useful ideas in there.
