It was a 25 bed house we had all to ourselves. Two garages big enough to fit 8 cars with space, one with a pit.

Any word on the other cars that went with you. Specifically the E36 and 46 Tourers?

Well, my trip started the day before, seeing as I got no sleep, spannering till 3am, then home to pack and then leave..

Image

Image

Everyone met up at Maidstone services for a much needed coffee and a bite to eat

Image

Image

Image

Image

After everyone turned up and had refuelled with caffeine and in my case bacon sandwich, off to Dover!

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

After which we (just about in Bob's case..) got on the ferry to France. Later England!!

Image

Image

Image

Image

Quick stop once we arrived to gather the troops, and decide how we were gonna get there!!

The e46 330d died a death on it's first lap.

The e36 was fine as far as I know.

Bullshit matey!

Track turds invariably break down too much or cause you to crash because you don't care about jumping kerbs and the like. just use a good strong car and drive accordingly.

Well I was going to say "Nothing" I went with Daryl last year and he only managed 2 laps. (1 him and 1 his friend Jason) before the 330D started with some wierd vibration which we couldn't pin down during the weekend. So to preserve the car for the journey home he didn't do any more laps. Which was sensible.

I was hoping he had a better time this year.

Sadly though :(

well Rich he came out with me at the half way point. He split a coolant hose. Not a prob.......but it was a hard plastic pipe. some expert bodging after a few days of thinking got it running! After some ideas from me and barry of cutting and rubber hoses! Darryl made it happen though

niiiiice! can i ask where abouts? link?

cool pics jhonno, though there seems to be an excessive amount of male arse in them :?

what did the 330d die of?
i have always thought one of those would make a nice modern replacement for my wagon if/when it dies a death

When i say track turd i dont mean some peice of scrap with cut springs and ling long ditchfinders!

I just dont wont to bin my low mileage sport so a shell i wont loose sleep over if i bend it is whats needed, ie a moredoor. I would just reshell if the worst happened.

Suspension brakes and tyres will be up to spec and a cheap and plentyfull powerplant ie M52 would be used.

I dont do rotten bodged scrap.

Obviously you will get them at the same price I do, Not looking to make any money from you loosers.

Ok, I'll take a photo of the couple I have of my turd that I have stretched onto a frame (frames are peanuts from the range) to show how they come out.

I guess that when you buy the picture from these sites they will remove the watermars?

Simon your appearance is chav-esque.

Well done on stopping for the crashed Porsche.

A yellow flag is also a good idea guys, well done on the 1st aid kit.

Love from,

David.
