i how have 2 cabs 1 i have had for 6 yers with 4 oners and 160000 kms cloth intereyer. Ive spent £8000 on it so far with full bear shel respray new bushes every wher new 2.7 lump mtek kit mahual box . Car 2 i brort today it has 1 oner from new ful servis histary and 56000 kms full gray lever including sent consol and dor cards.altomatic box. Hidrolic hood . Its pant ovuosoly dus not loke as good as car 1. My dilema is wich car to rape of all the good bits and sell and wich car to keep

Can't you just make one really good car out of the two and sell whats left.

thats the idear but really low milig shell bad pant work or hiy milig shel that is totaly sorted exsept interya and manul hud

About 60/40 should do you, I wouldn't go lower than that though or you will have problems with speed ramps.

If car 2 has a leather centre console and door cards etc, it sounds like a motorsport to me?? You have any images??

i thought that but it ant i went to the stealas with the chassis no and it ant .no logo in sets ever Its french inported by stealers to uk then drivan to south spane strat away.

Sounds wierd, you got any photos of both cars? Get the chassis number and take it to your local stealers, or even give them a call and they'll confirm it for you


Btw I'd stop the text speak as some of the old farts on here are a bit sensitive to itlol winkeye

ok i took the new one to the spray shop today to get the dent on top of the rer wing sorted and a mop to bring the pant work bake up. Only got the paper work sorted as from 12 oclok last nite so it was my ferst chans to drive it. You can tell its only dun 36000 mils its so smuth it pulls so well the alto gerbox just works like its strat from the factury not a scwec not a ratal and the electro hidrolic hud now works.ok all the bushes ned changing as its a bit vage .
I got my computer bake today so when it cums bake ill post sum pics of both i cant belev ild ever finc of geting red of car 1 i thort nuthink cood cum betwen us. Hens the 8 grand

The answer is simple, put everything on to the best shell ( car 1 ) and then run 2 as a daily and 1 for best.

Oh I got ya mate. Yeah bummer in my experince Mrs's and e30's never mix too well.

I would still say put your efforts into the 1st car with the better shell as you know it's been striped and painted so should last you a long time.

are i wunderd wiy you thort car 1 was beter. I live io south spane and nothing gos rusty out here. I defoadntly prefer car 1s culer and it has no litall parking dents from dors wich car 2 has dut car 1 scwecs and ratals i dont now

I didn't realise you were in Spain bud.

I would still think a shell that has been stripped and painted going to be the best and like you say it's not dented ect.

Are both the cars the same style? ie: both facelift or facelift?

both cromes i dont think i cood have a plastic bumper alow car 1 has a tek 2 rear bumper at the momant but wich ever one i kepe im going to put back the tec 1 ive always preferd the shape but i prefer the lenf of the tek 2 maby il get my mate pall the spraya to do sum grafting wat do u thik

I'd keep the first car and put the interior and engine of the second into it although half the center console will be different, lol.


Much better keeping the shell you put all the work into plus if you prefer manual it's better too as the second will require lots of work to make an auto of.

A straight shell full painted is alot better than one with lots of dings anyway that will only have the car all filler if put right again

My old cab had a tech2 grafted on it ( biggest problem is the rear lights , they cut out the shape and sealed with silcone ) .

This is my pre-facelift Alpina. It has a Zender side pods and rear valance on it which goes really well with the shape. I think the combonation looks brilliant on the pre-facelift shell.
