Hi

I'm thinking of purchasing a pair, but obviously they are not legal.

I am curious who has been stopped by the police :nono: for having these, and did you get away with a warning or was you fined?

Thanks

i was stopped twice when i 1st bought mine, not on the car any more. You can get pressed plates that are road legal, as long as the type face and spacing are correct.

I pleaded ignorance on both occasions and was let off, didnt fancy risking it for a 3rd time.

Not sure if these are legal because crafty plates on ebay sell them for £24 delivered but they do not state 100% legal.

"We cannot be held responsible for any fines or convictions resulting from using these plates for any purpose but for the one for which they were designed. Please use 'Ask Seller A Question' if you would like to know more."

the ebay ones are not road legal.

Dubmeister do some road legal ones, don't have their details to hand though as I'm not at home. Off the top of my head, it's something like www.dubmeister.co.uk

I've just bought some similar legal ones from http://www.craigsplates.co.uk/

I used to have them on a 944. They look pretty good and no hassle from the Feds :)
