got my touring back on Thursday and although it's not UK registered yet went out for a 'spin' today to see what it's like in the wet with the lsd as never had a car with a lsd

Got a bit enthusiast on a slip road bend before joining the north circ and ended up facing the wrong way. luckily kept it out of the barrier and was no-one else around til two porsches came round the bend and pulled up while I was looking a bit of an amateur :o:

note to self: get some new tyres and know your limits

i.e I'm a crap driver

loving being back in a car that gets approving nods though - the e36 328is was invisible in comparison

Find a big open car park and find out how it reacts. Enjoy.

it does turn in well Ant :D

fortunately it was a nice wide two lane bend with no-one around. I'm not quite as stupid as I look. Nearly..

good advice about the car park. I got chucked out of sainsbury's on christmas day for finding out how my 02 behaved once. I'm old enough to know better really.

To be fair to Simon's driving skills, the tyres on that car are well past their sell by date, lots of tread but concrete hard due to being 15 year old rubber.
