can i fit a normal set of ht leads or do i have to use bmw leads becauce of the pulse sensor lead

I think where leads are concerned, general consensus is use Bosch ones (which were OEM anyway)

I've used 'normal' ones from my local motor factor on my 320i and my 318i tourers without the sensor (as it's nigh on impossible to get to the plug on the 318i anyway) and both run just fine. Don't know what the 'sensor' is as I took it apart and it just looks like a radio suppressor inside as it's just copper wire wrapped around the plug lead.

they seem to run fine without the pulse sensor ?
