I thought so, Alpina wheels normally have 20 spokes, this has 19.
Also, there should be a proper Alpina odometer on there, it looks like a shiny chrome one where the "ALPINA" writing is a bit exaggerated in size.
Nevertheless, she looks lovely.
I though there was something dodgy, as Alpina's this lovely don't often come on same much.

Ohh, I see, yeah, probably, especially when I see some around my area with M badges and Alpina badges on with Borbets on lol.old_skool wrote:Confirmation of authenticity from Sytner is now chargeable. I guess it's because they were sick and tired of running around checking out phoney Alpinas for dodgy types.

Replica or no, (I'll wait for the backlash from the purists) it is still a very clean car.
I don't agree with the advert stating that it is something that it isn't (if that's the case)
But if mine was half as clean as that I'd be pretty happy.

It doesn't look like it does in my sig pic anymore

But the owner probably can get away with selling it to an unexpecting owner, who won't check before buying.blackcountrybimmerman wrote:Replica or no, (I'll wait for the backlash from the purists) it is still a very clean car.

I remember this guy posting on here a month back, about some alloy wheel damage from wheel changers, so he's a zoner.
Nevertheless, a very nice neat looking car.

Can't disagree with that!
Car does look clean but that is no ALPINA if you look closely at the sentre consle it looks like a ebay special plaque. would look much better with some 15" bbs alloys

Im no an expert but...
The wheels are BKs with no locks, i dont think the C2 ever came with a tec 1 front spoiler, and the steering wheel is the earlier type as fitted to C1s and e28s ect, other than that it would fool most people, and it looks like a nice car.
If it had the correct s/wheel,spoiler and 16" wheels without all the chrome bling it would be spot on,its even got a sytner dealer sticker..
The question is why bother ,it looks like a very nice sport anyway and would be more desireable as standard.

Now im going to winge about people who take the ps out of alpina rep wheels.
So they are copies...the real thing is very expensive and mostly 16"
There are not many decent wheels available with an E30 offset.
There are only a few wheels which suit the E30,mostly german and expensive, the alpina design suits the e30 very well and its better to see reps on a car than halfords blingrims which cost the same.
The standard 15" bbs look nice but are not nice to keep clean..
As replicas go,i think BK did a good job.

might not be a true Pina but a very nice example of a tech1 at what seems to be a reasonable price

C2 2.7's could be based on tech one sports and some had the full tech one kit. Some had the full tech one kit and an alpina front spoiler. There is not set guide lines when it comes to spec except for all base cars having body coloured mirrors, LSD and sport seats or recaros.SUMPCRACKER wrote:Im no an expert but...

The steering wheel is correct for cars up to 87 and all E30 alpinas had this wheel untill the full leather four spoke replaced it in 87.
Replica sytner dealer stickers were on ebay at one point.
People take the p1ss out of bks because they are crap, end of!SUMPCRACKER wrote:Now im going to winge about people who take the ps out of alpina rep wheels.

Style aside they are heavy and made of cheap alloy. The also need plastic spigot rings to fit an E30s as the shitty things are multi fittment.
Its not that nice-a-car tbh (no offence intended), and the advert is misleading and untruthful. I've seen it a few times and the owner seems like a nice bloke, but clearly not trustworthy or honest about the car.

My sentiments exactly. When people are hard up(credit crunch), cons seem more acceptable to them I guess.oakey wrote:Its not that nice-a-car tbh (no offence intended), and the advert is misleading and untruthful.
