Okay, having bought the LPG converted 4door of Supafly I was hoping to use the money saved on fuel to finally get the touring how i always wanted (meaning lots of modifications and money being spent).

However reality is i need to save to buy a house (not right now, but need to start saving) and that means that keeping 2 cars isn't really an option (as much as i'll hate to see the touring go  ).

So, the touring has to go, but i was just wondering HOW i should sell it....let me explain.

The car has lots of extra's that i've added myself to make life more comfortable, luxuries of sort. Now my question is, would leaving these in add or decrease the value of the car?

Would i be better off stripping off all the extra's and selling them seperately (or keeping the ICE as i don't really want to sell it, but it makes the car more complete if left in)

My thread for the touring can be seen here:-
http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... highlight=

A list of the modifications (that i can remember) is:-

- HID Lights
- DIY Smoked Headlights
- IS front Lip
- Custom Polished Borbet T Alloy Wheels 9j all round (1 wheel has some damage done by my brother the 1 and only time he drove it :x but not too bad )
- Tinted Windows all round (fronts only have light smoke
- Front Armrest
- Alcantara Tech2 Steering Wheel
- Black Rear Leather Seats (not fitted yet as was searching for front seats)
- Sport Maplight mirror (not fitted yet)
- e46 Auto Shifter (not fitted yet)
- Full Scorpion Stainless Steel Exhaust

ICE
- In-dash Touch-screen DVD player (plays Divx, has SD and USB slots)
- Digital Freeview (upto 30 freeview channels on the move)
- 2x 15" Subwoofers
- 6x9 speakers in the boot
- Pioneer (think they were pioneer anyway) speakers upfront
- 4 x tweeters (1 packed up i think, not had time to investigate why)
- Rear-Headrest Monitors
- Reversing Camera (cuts in automatically when reverse gear is selected)

Can't really remember anything else, but i'm sure that there will be more.

I won't be selling yet as there's a few little jobs that need doing on it (brakes, service etc) and will get them sorted before listing it anywhere, but i was just wanting to know if there is anyone out there who would be looking at buying a car with all the gear already in as it seems that many people end up putting all the ICE in themselves anyway so this would save them some time!

Ideally i'd like to sell the car with everything with it as i work 6 or 7 days a week and don't have time to strip all the extra's off, but realistically if i want to make as much for the car as possible would i be better off removing everything?

sad to see you selling the car and hate to say this but you might get more selling the bits off ,what do you think the car is worth or what would you want for it ?

I have no idea what it would be worth. Not selling right now as it'll probably be worth nothing, but it will need to go soon.

If it isn't worth selling as it is then i could use most of the bits on the 4door i've bought and sell this more or less as it was when i bought it.

It really will be hard to sell it as i've become quite attached to it :o: Will seem strange not having it parked outside.

i have always liked the look of your touring and if/when you come to sell it would be very interested if im in the right circumstances.

personally i wouldnt want all the extra ICE thats in there and would probably put something in thats less substantial. Im sure that others would probably be interested in it with the ICE but as dips said i think you would get more for it if you took it out and sold it seperately.

i would be interested in all the other mods you have done.

Thanks, I personally think that it would be more profitable to remove everything and sell the car as i got it, just means i have to try and make time in my very busy schedule to strip it all down and remove all the stuff i've put into it.

I personally wanted to transfer it all over to the 4door anyway, but can never find time to do it.

There will be some bits that will be up for sale if i do that, but the Alcantara Steering wheel will NOT be for sale winkeye That's not going anywhere!

I think i'm just having what i thought would be the answer confirmed, it's just a shame as it made for such a good 'cruizer' with all the gear, and i really have missed not having all that gear in the 4door.

The car will have a bit of maintenance work done (as i've done 10hour shifts, 7days a week for the past 2 months so haven't had time to do anything )on it and maybe new tax/mot done if it needs it (i can't remember when it runs out off the top of my head).

I'll probably advertise it on the zone first if someone locally doesn't take it off me before that.

Who ever buys it can do that once the money is in my hand, if they so choose.
