i hate the fact there 2.0 engine only made 129bhp. every thing feels to tightly packed together on the dash, my seat mechinism wealded to fixed posion as its fcuked and infact pretty much all of what vinni said apart from the boot is a b4st47d to get in to!!

i hate people who advertise an e30 and say its got schnitzer parts... i take a look at the vehicle and there are none in sight!
i also dislike people putting schnitzer badges on their motors when they have nothing schnitzer on it.. same goes for m technik.
318is owners who think its the baby m3.
people who want to swap there 316 engine for a 318........ WHY?!?!!? JUST WHHHHHHHHHHHY?!?!????
anyone that dislikes schnitzer and snubs their success(after all they made our icon of a car the e30 m3 what it is today!!)

Weirdly, mine doesn't annoy me with most of the problems listed above.

Ok, I have to remove the rear headrests to fold the back seat, but I fitted them so I can't complain.

I don't have the tape holders, or any real rust so they're no problem either.

I do have the wonky exhaust tailpipes and the panel under the steering wheel does my head in sometimes.

The most annoying thing on mine is the nearside headlamp washers leak from the little non-return valve so I have to top up the fluid once a week at least. It's an excuse to check the oil and PAS fluid levels so it's no big hardship but the "low screen wash" light only comes on if I'm in a bad mood and / or hurry.

The heater resistor, now THAT winds me up. With mine having AC it means fiddling about stripping the bloody cover under the bonnet just to get to it and it never seems to stay working for more than a couple of weeks at a time.

You have highbacks in front of your tele ?????
yes, why?
Just wondered.

Before I bought my sofa I had an idea of getting the leather rear seat out of something big like a Jaguar and making a frame up. Never got round to it in the end.

RUST and the scum they attract! Mind you I suppose that is the same for all older cars as they fall from grace as the latest fashion and become victim to council dwellers. :x

Also good E30s that are broken to make the latest noise box on wheels with 10mm clearance from the ground. :cursin:

mmmm only just got mine and i think the few things i dislike are the fact that i never got it brand new to get the full experience. like all 20 year old cars it just feels a little old compared to other newer cars i've had. nothing bad though really.

Reading through this it makes u wonder why we've all got one? :? Part of the attraction for me is also the fact that like most on here I do love tinkering. There's always something that needs doing on a 20 yr old car! :D

But as I said above, I enjoy seeking-out rare morsels.
