well, i climbed underneath her today and took off the diff tag. it reads S3,23 548 any clues anyone?

Limited slip diff of the 3,23 variety. Take that off! Possibly a small case diff which does limit the market due to the ratio and it not being a medium case diff.

i've only had a price on the steering wheel, obc and an e36 m3 steering wheel so far. still have to add the a/c, c/c, spoiler, lsd and box to the total yet! p.s. it is a "b" reg baz.

spotted in a car breaker's yard today: a 2-door 'b' reg e30. i was working on another car (e36 compact) and casually glanced over and saw the e30. i thought to myself "shall i bother having a look?" as it looked rusty, was a gold colour, had no front fogs, h/l/w/w, skirts or anything desireable being immediately obvious. i finished doing what i was doing, then thought "why not? you never know." am i glad i did! it had fitted: tech2 boot spoiler (genuine), complete bootlid toolkit (inc. the £60 white plastic window-winder thingy), opening rear windows, full leather sports interior, rear blind parcel shelf, full 13 button on-board computer, and momo alpina-style steering wheel i started to remove the steering wheel and saw a lever. "what's that?" i thought, cruise control! then looked at the centre console. "what's that button for?" air conditioning! i rushed round to check under the bonnet and yes, both fitted. gold e30: prepare to be raped tomorrow!

cheers stu. well i've been going there since i was sixteen, so about five long years now! dan, the leather is good (no holes/splits,etc but a little dry) and is "sport" but.............it's a sort of very dark brown colour (gold colour car) almost black really. i don't need it so let me know if you/anyone is interested
