thought id ask everyone what they think

im getting my e30 convertible, with m-tech 2 kit re-sprayed.

im keeping it the orginal red colour, but iv got 17" alpina replicas on the car.

just wanyted to ask what you guys thought about colour scheme for the wheels?

black maybe with the red car and black roof?
slightly greyish??
diamond cut maybe?
keep them original??

im on a budget too so i CANT invest in new wheels!!

I would keep them original, with a new layer of paint. That way they stick out more.

Yeah As above, Alpinas look cool just how they are...Black rims has been done to death now aswell.

In my opinion for what its worth alpina wheels can only be silver, anything else and they are just multi spoke wheels.

whats the best way to do it?

im sure my mate down the bodyshop will tell me, but id rather know myself.

what kind of/ colour is the paint they paint they put on to keep them original??

On my bbs i did black centers and red rims. Would really suit a red tech2! Would be harder with alpinas bout could give a nice look. The 17" ones are quite common so no purisist will attack you if you decide to do something with them!

Just got a diamond schwartz 325i (if the guy aint sold it, told him to hold it till i get back to my rock on monday) so gonna just re-do the lips to match!

Your call bud! Personally i'd get some BBS as i prefer the looks. I'd be estatic tho with some genuines :)

currently without a BMW 😭

i like the bbs on the car nayC.

cant afford new alloys yet but i fancy a set of them rh topline diamond cut ones!! but i dont think theyd look good on a red convertible!!!

dont fancy purple tho!!
