Your not having the best of luck
There is a company on ebay that will sell you the rear screen, its about £90 if i remember correctly.
If your existing screen is zip-in then you could do it yourself, will be a bit fiddly but not too difficult.
Feel for you mate

you can fit a new screen but it really needs the roof taking off ..the fitters in Sheffield charge about £200 for the job I have a 'how to' pdf if you want ...
It is usually caused by lowering the roof when the perspex is too cold and therefore brittle ...that's what the rear screen protectors are for,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Unlucky dude, must be a nasty thing to happen. Heard its quite a common problem so you should be able to find ways to fix it.
Advantage of a saloon or coupe!... or touring.
During dismal weather like this i'd well get a hard top (for over the soft top) to avoid a problem like that. As it happens when they're cold doesn't it? Unless i'm talking rubbish then ignore me

It's to cold to take the hood down the plastic will snap if it is moved. My hard top is on and i wont move the soft top unless we get a better warmer day. Plus yes they are zip in well mine is at least just lift the falps over the seam you will see.ImysE30 wrote:How come it split?![]()

I had mine down on Monday and Tuesday, warmed it using the demister. Also had the hood down on my cousin's new M3 (E92 i think). I don't think mine is zip-in, i'll have to double check

you have to take the thing apart to do it then refit it ..it is actually more labour intensive than putting a new roof onmandeepss_2009 wrote:il never take mine down again when its even slightly cold!!!

It can be done though with patience and 2 people ..As I said before I have a pdf of a 'how to' pm me an email address and I will forward it..mind you off skiing for a week tonight

While we are on the subject does anyone know of anywhere in the north west of England where my mate could get a new roof fitted for his E30 320i conv, without breaking the bank.
Cheers
