little Cnuts could have atleast done the honorable thing and broke a window rather then shagging your door, had the same with mine when i was in UK, they did not nick the car but managed to nick my bag i had left in the boot with wallet/license etc and my 2nd year uni notes. they then set up two accounts at Trago Mills and had 2500 quid in my name

Looks like your looking for another lachs (if thats the colour) drivers door there as well. That lock hole is well and truly f*cked.

Do you think they'll be back? I'd certainly keep an close eye for them then make a f*cking good example out of one of them!

B*stards, by the looks of it though mate they were 1 step away from having it, would be harder to replace the car than a door and locks etc, you were lucky this time, I'd leave the door like it is for a bit but get an alarm fitted [silent pager alarm preferably] and set a trap for the b*stards, chances are they'll be back for it. Don't forget to get the neighbour a bottle scotch aswell, he done you proud, lol

That would stop it going yeh, and is a good idea, but they would still do all that damage before they found that out

i agree, but you cant fix a car you dont have anymore, also quick release steering wheel is a good idea common in drift cars

Quick releases are a good deterent unless you're as dumb as some1 I knew, his car still got nicked, silly donut left the wheel under the seat, lol, the thieves must of took the gamble of it being in the car, a bit like the old snatch plate stereo's, thieves no you ain't gonna take it in the pub and buy it a pint so it must be in the car

Ack. Bad luck mate - been there. Attempted pry-in on my old golf. Feckers ruinated the door before the alarm scared them off.

Pitbull in the passenger seat and poisonous snake in the glove box. Tea leaves are usually opportunist chicken shites who have bad karma headed their way. sometimes I almost wish I could catch someone even looking shiftily at one of my cars. They would leave having learned enough about it to reform their characters thenceforth I can assure you.

my brother once caught a bloke in his rst so as you would do my brother gave him a sore face and left it at that. there however was a couple of witnesses and before my brother knew what was going on he had the local boys in blue chapping his door and charging him for assault. my brother explained that hed caught the boy trying to steal his car yet the cops were still intent on charging him even with witnesses from my brothers work and camera evidence from the industrial estate they were still wanting to charge him with assault.. needless to say a couple of days later the boy withdrew his statement and said he wasn't wanting my brother charged but it shows that the justice system sucks even if these 3 kids were caught they'll get a slap on the wrist and maybe 6 weeks in a holiday camp.. and if you get the car repaired through your insurance you'll be paying for it for the next few years... where the f*ck is the justice in that !!!

in a few places i have worked (south london) it seemed the only way to have no damage to the car was to leave it open.
sounds strange i know, but after replacing locks and glass over a period of time it really was the cheapest option, it takes 2 minutes to remove the steering wheel or HT leads, it takes a lot longer to replace damaged parts.

it is a sad world we live in.

Thats exactly how some little cunt did my 325i many moons ago to nick my road angel. The car was deadlocked and so after they knocked the door lock right down into the door skin, they still couldn't get in. So they then smashed the window as well! :x Police took it away as the value of the item stolen was quite high back in the day(£400). Then the cunts that store it for them tried to charge me £170! The police picked up the bill thankfully.

New door definatly required. Golf mk2s used to get done in a not to disimilar way but the lock was intergrated with the handle IIRC, I wonder if there is a reinforcement plate that could be used?

took away part of the steering column shroud the pr1cks ripped off for finger printing!!
apparently theres been a real increase in cars being knicked around shiregreen/parson cross/firth park (areas of sheffield all with borders to each other).

simon13 is breaking his touring?? i wonder what it would cost to courier a door.... anyone ever done that before?? :?

Allow that man, everytime I have to park the Alpina with the roof down on a nice sunny day in a public place, I always take the steering wheel with me, I never leave it in, original steering wheel and it's a bast**d to remove and fit, but worth not getting the car nicked, of course, all this is on top of the normal security measures like locks and stuff!! winkeye winkeye winkeye winkeye

No steering wheel, no drive winkeye winkeye

I know people around my area want my Alpina, and they wouldnt mind nicking it for a drive.
I even had a guy asking me to take him for a little ride when i was filling it up at the pumps, I was like, what the **** was that all aboput! 8O 8O 8O

2 minutes to remove steering wheel, 30 seconds to put roof up, HMMM, I bet afew of the little c*nts walk past it and scratch their b*ll*ox eh, lol.

And as for it bein a standard sleepy estate, they've picked on you're car because it's the fastest car about that's actually still takeable with a screw driver and spanner, all newer car's are immobilised to hell, so the scumbags think it's christmas when they see a 15 year old drifting tool parked up
