CD changers

Anybody know if a cd changer was an option back in 1990 on the e30`s.A friend of mine has one in his e30 and were not sure if this is original or not.If it was ,is it rare?

they were an option in the 90's 5 series so i guess they would of been in the e30 as well

I had the casset multi holder option!

Have seen the cassete holder thingy alright.The radio and cd changer are both sony, maybe it was dealer fitted.
