yeah i collect all original items, but only stuff that is quite rare and realy hard to get hold of.....

ie:-

- Original BMW Recaro's out of the e30 m3
- Original leather center console and gaitors etc
- Original leather door handles
- Original smoked front and back lights
- Original M3 speedometer(in MPH)
- Original All-in-one gear gaitor

sure there's more on the list but can think of it at the moment...

Original sales literature - specifically relating to when my cars were new. its a really good point of reference and I think I've got the correct years brochure for every car I've owned.

Geeky I know :o:

I wanted to do this until I saw the price some of it goes for!! Gotta get lucky at the jumbles I spose. I am planning to detail some miniatures with numberplates etc to match my real life fleet when I can be arsed. Wanted to do it for all the cars I've ever owned, but that may be a bit tragic.

why not collect RC Cars and make them exactly the same as every one you've had. you could atleast still drive them when your real ones in the garage :D

cloud, if those bits are on your list, then good luck.... cos all these took literally years to get hold of, and still collecting stuff.

If you hang on to it, I may, in time, make you an offer you can't refuse.

Lots of both.
Anyway, in an attempt to go a bit on-topic (which is rare for me) the only thing I've collected is a bunch of problems. Another bit of plastic comes off, and reveals another patch of rust. I don't think it's sad to collect bits, even if the bits are radiator hoses.
Just don't give them names...
