Just to be different, Ive got neither.
The previous owner was trying to do something different with mine (almost a JPS conversion)
As a result, I have two kidney grills. Ive got the original chrome in the boot right now, and the one on the car is gold. On a black car like mine it looks very good, head on, but when you look at it from an angle, you see the chrome bumpers, and the gold and chrome dont go well. Im putting the chrome kidneys back on as soon as I can get the gold one off (its glued).
If it was a faceleft car, with gold wheels, the gold kidneys would look absolutely amazing, they really would. With the chrome bumpers, it just doesnt work.

Ill take a pic when I get around to it. It looks pretty bad ATM though, as the bumpers are off and the bonnet has primer on it. Normally it looks alot better.
I personally dont like it on this car, but I still think it wouldnt be bad if the gold was run through the car tastefully. It simply looks terrible when its near chrome.
