Hi, has anyone done this lately?

I'm struggling to find anyone willing to do so for less than £100

I'm splitting the kit up but the rear valance is over the 120cm long maximum stipulated by Parcel Force / Parcel2go / DHL

If anyone has found a courier lately offering sensible shipping prices on "oversized" items please let me know.

Cheers.

Sorry for off topic, but what spoiler do/did you have on your 332 touring?

The front one or the roof one?

Front was tech 2, Rear roof one was the larger rubber Tech 2 color coded.

Try your local Staples store if you have one, i've heard they are quite good with set prices regardless of size etc. Not used them myself so as i say its just what i've heard.

I have sent numerous things with parcel2go over the stiplulated length including exhausts & spoilers & only ever received a few dodgy looks from the moody collection men!

A sneaky way of getting past the 150cm rule is Pythagorus theorum. The rules say the longest side cant be more than 150cm, and length andgirth under 3m, but if you make a box thats 150cm x 80cm, then the internal diagonal is 170cm and your total is only 2.3m (plus 20cm for the depth, you've still got some play for the padding.)

I used it to send some side skirts to America - the DHL guy queried the size, we got his tape measure out, it was within the parameters and weight limit and off it went, no further probs. Worth a shot ;)
