Since I got rid of mine, I havent seen 1 and it was about a year ago when i sold up.........I do see millions of e30's but none of them sports, Infact ive seen quite a few E30 M3's in that time aswell.
Starting to get thin on the ground now as rust has be catching up one many of them.Cabgirl wrote:I've seen a lot around the London area. Not very rare, unless you see Ian's 332i Sport :winkeye:

they were an expensive car when new, priced mine up this morning at £23,700 ish with the options it has.
not so many left now due to the rust and wayward rear ends/crap drivers but since the plastic kit doesnt rot a lot of models are dressed up as sports.

Not really it was an expensive car in its day, I wouldn't be surprised if there are 3 times that total in imitations running round in the UK, given the Mtech kit was a BMW option on all models, supplied standard on the sport and was available as well as copies after market. As has been said the metal will rot, the plastic parts will not.
I myself have written off one and own two, out of 917 manuals thats not bad. Soon as the Black one is MOT'd itwill be for sale for a reasonable price too. Or I may put it in storage for a time when I'm a bit more flush.

We all do, I have a daily driver so the redundent sport seems like a silly driveway ornament, just no MOT means its virtually un-saleable. Wether thats a good thing or bad thing depends on where my life goes from here. Got alot of changes coming up, new job, new flat, don't know if 3 cars is practical and maintainable in the current economic climate.bss325i wrote:Mines going nowhere although i did recently have thoughts of selling.march109 wrote:My 'investment' doesn't seem to bad now.hubble wrote: Well that's great news for us fellas

Mine will now be a garraged show queen/large ornament mothballed in the winter etc etc and i have wanted to do concours with a car once in my life which i know is a bit anal/homo but to have a car to that standard is nice imo and my sport has the potential to do this with.march109 wrote:We all do, I have a daily driver so the redundent sport seems like a silly driveway ornament, just no MOT means its virtually un-saleable.
