I have a set of mint 1986 14x6.5 BBS wheels..not sure of what model.
They are not oem bmw wheels..they were purchased through BBS in 1986.
Wheels have been in storage and believe it or not have no more than a year of service to their credit. They are Practically new straight from the 80's. Gold/Polished lip.
Got them from a 65 year old BMW CCA member (my uncle). He owns a overly meticulous minded 67k mile 86 325es)

Anyways...Question in Point is: will the Et 30 offset work and not hit my fenders if I drop the offset to Et 15?
I plan on using something (I curently own H&R 15mm spacers) but if it's a danger of hitting my fenders I'll try 10mm spacers .(must be hubcentric though!)
I have 205/60/14 RE71 brigstone potenza tires
but will switch to 195/50/14 tires if need be (some type of summer tire)
Oh, and of course my car is lowered. H&R - Bilstein + Racing Dynamics sway bars & strut bar

*Insight on this sisuation is appreciated greatly

Et30 is the correct offset for 6.5" rims on an E30. That's what the factory-fit 14" BBS rims are.

Stuart.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

I know that..but the wheels won't look aggressive enough on the car in Et30.

Et30 will basically look stock...and the wheels to me will look "tucked inward" too much.. like any stock wheel looks.
right now I have ET20 16x7 wheels and I also run ET23 17x7 wheels..nice stance and a nice filled out look. I have also added my 15mm spacers to my 14x6 ET 35 bottle caps to make a ET20 offset. Stock 195/65/14 tires. No rubbing. Looked much more meaty.
"more filled out"... That's what I want.

I guess ET15 won't work. Hopefully the wheels will look extra nice then if they are stock fitment in the fender wells.
(Looks TOO Tucked inward for my tastes!)

I wonder if the ET30 BBS 14x6.5 will have a stance similiar to my ET25 15x7 Racing Dynamics RGP wheels?

Oh here's a photo of the 14" BBS wheels I got...as shown on my uncle's 86' 325ES (US spec)

I'll have to take pics of the wheels in my garage when I get around to it.
The tires and wheels are MINT.

et 15 should be fine as theyre only 6.5in wide, probably sit similar in your arches to the 7in et20 wheels, you might need skinnier tyres though, and then you'll probably want to lower it further so they don't look lost in the arches.
cheers,

Stop being a pansy and wang the spacers you already have on it, drive it around, full lock, see if anything catches, if so, you have your answer. Its 30 mins work, if that.

Well to be honest the car is in the shop undergoing a strip-down restoration.

The wheels are going to be customized..cirrus blue metallic centers to match the car's body color.
Either way I have 205/60/14 and 195/60/14 tires. both sets are new too.
So It should be easy to figure out....once I get my car back in 5-6 months!
