strange hole on my E30

I just founded that I have one extra hole for antenna but on right side of car, never noticed this before, I was thinking it's standard but only my car has it.
Any ideas what this could be?

could have been an old phone arieal, some yuppy must have owned it before you,

Its an old phone antenna mate, i had the same thing on an escort i had a few years ago. Would not worry about it aslong as its plugged properly and no water is leaking through its all good.

thanks guys, probably is phone antenna, previous owner had the car 10 years
I checked it today, no leaks and rubber cap is placed over it. No worries
