what series can my car race in?

Pete knows from past experience with the Ford Scorpio Challenge Series. Or at least that's what he told me when some dirty sort dropped off a 1.8 Granada on the D plate which he then spent about 50 hours restoring. This was lightened by power washing the green slime off and it's aerodynamic prowess was improved by hand glazing the vehicle with Meguires Turd Polish, after having attacked it with Lemon Jif and a green scouring pad. The 1.8L (L=Leichtgewicht or 'lightweight') was powered by the rev happy 1800 'Pinto' mill coupled to a 5 speed T9 sequential all syncro box and safety diff, and featured full homologation spec - wind up windows, tweed trim and Motorsport ABS.pacerpete wrote:They used to hold regular races at essex arena and wimbledon stadium. I am sure it would be eligible for some of them........
I believe it competed in the Essex Arena challenge and is now several manhole covers in Bejing and an Asda 'value' cutlery set.
As for the 316i Touring with a rinky C2 engine, that's not a model BMW made so no homologation papers exist.
Lots but depends on the level of modification, if you want to race competively with minimum modifications TRC saloons, or the lower levels of the BMW Kumho series.just curious guys. what race series can a c2 2.7 race in?
