my engine blew yesterday, so i'm breaking the car and saying goodbye to e30s for the time being.

just wanted to say thanks to the people on here who made owning this car much more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been.

for people with no mechanical experience, like myself, this site, and the people on it, have been very patient with many of my inane questions and have helped me a lot.

thanks to: brianmooore, march109, chris-W, smithy318i and a load of other people.

cheers.

Pacerpete on here has a mint 318i engine and box that's absolutely complete - why not fit that? As a fixed on the road car you'd get a lot more that breaking it. Because it's a 316i, Ireland would be a very good market for it. I got nearly £1500 for a very basic white car with cloth and steels.
