New disks/fast road pads/ATE Super Blue brake fluid/braided hoses are a good starting point
If that's not enough then it all depends on what wheels you have fitted and your budget
If std 15" BBs then you cant go more than 280mm disks
If you've got 17's or 18's you can go up to330mm- 355mm disks and 4/6 or 8 pot (spacers required)

have a look at www.300mm.de they sell some serious brake upgrades.
And have a search for Andrew (Demlotcrew)'s car. It's got a huge homebrew brake kit fitted, and the car's stunning...
