As per title what are you people using to reader fault codes and live engine info?
I've searching online and for DIYers Bavarian Technic and CarSoft has been mentioned a lot on e36 forums.

I do have 1 and did think about trying it but ended up using an external pump in the old location, (5 bar no issues and quiet too). I couldn't live with the external pump the humming/buzzing very annoying no matter how quiet it seems in the car when your out you can hear it. May pickup a E46 pump s...

Update I've extended the wiring from the external pump ti the new intank. Drove the car for about a hour everything seems ok wiring not excessively hot. Feel at ease now.......can put rear bench back down. Thanks everyone Just a thought the E46 M3 fuel pump is 5bar can this be fitted into E30 hanger...

Are the cables at the hanger the same gauge (thickness) as the cables that used to feed the external pump? If they are a smaller gauge then STOP using them and extend the ones for the external pump. If your not sure get someone to check! At least its all fine, at worst your heading for a fire! both...

stock +1, e36 evo pump in the e30 hanger. thanks for the advice. To give an update I've fitted the evo pump in e30 hanger all is working well. A couple things. There may be a rubber type strip in the bottom channel that is missing, old dried and cracked, or the glass needs to be seated down fully into the bottom channel. Tilting can be caused by misaligned side rails, wornout lining on the side rails(I'm not sure what it's called but it's...

Motor and glass fitted
Only thing is that when window is lower it fall forward a little.
When going back up fall back into runner.
I believe addition securing/adjustment hole needs to be drilled.
Can someone give details of were that should be done

I went over everything again check heater fan all ok there.
Checked fuse and it had blown possibly because of previous seized fan.
Replaced fuse all working

I've tried 3 different V6 plugs but no rev counter only thing I can think is they are per face.
To my knowledge I thought only difference was 4 cylinder and 6 cylinders??
Not pre face and facelift???

Hi I have a S50 conversion in a pre face 325i After conversion the rev counter stopped working but I was getting a signal in black wire on blue plug behind cluster. Tried a few different clocks still nothing Then I got a cluster from a facelift 318 and the rev counter came to life wohoooo I thought....

hi the rev counter is not working on my s50 conversion any idea's?? Plug laptop into c101 plug cas see rpm and their is continuity on the wire to clocks.
