Thanks Guys
It just seemed beyond belief that the 'new' pump could cause problems too!
Seems I will need to keep a good supply handy!!!
Scott - my 325 has only 2 of the relays not the 3, and can you box up the pump and send me your details - I will PM you with my details

Fuel pump issues - 325
After my car cut out completely I traced the problem to the fuel pump - having replaced the pump the same thing has happened after running the car for about 60 miles - could the relay be at fault in this? The new pump worked fine and fired the car up straight away when I replaced it Any advice would...

Fuel problem
I have changed the fuel filler pipe today as it was corroded. Put everything back together and managed to get about 2 miles to a garage to fill up and then it stopped - no fuel at fuel rail. Got towed back home to investigate further, had fuel pump out and tried it outside the car hooked up to a bat...

sport drop
I'm on standard 15" BBS. I thought the M-tech was 40mm lower than standard which is probably what has confused me. The arches seem to be rubbing on the rear arches - I need to check them out. Looks pretty similar to the GUG as far as ride height goes. Mike - nice combo of sport and Gixer 6. I run th...

Lowering sport
I have just fitted a H&R cup kit and poly subframe bushes to my sport (60/40 drop) and was told it would only drop the front over the standard sport suspension. It now looks lower at the front, but also much lower at the back also, more like a 60/60 drop. Has anyone else noticed this when fitting th...

Thanks
Cheers Guys.
My mate is an engineer and he refused to do it without the tool.
I think I will have to hunt around and get someone to do it.
I am perfectly willing to have a go at this but knowing my competency underneath cars it will probably end in disaster!

Rear Subframe bushes
Just how bad are these to fit.
I have enquired with a few people about fitting and they wont touch em with a very long pole!!!
They have suggested the dealers to get it done.
Anyone know how much this costs?

Suspension bushes
Is anyone running powerflex bushes and is there any noticable difference above standard bushes.
Is it worth the extra cash to fit these and do they last longer?
Any help most appreciated.

H&R cup kits
Has anyone fitted the H&R cup kit (60/40) to a sport?
Just interested to know if anyone has had any issues with this and what the performance of the kit is.
Cheers

Side/parking lights problem
When the ignition is off the side lights stay on in normal circumstances.
Now when the ignition is off the lights are off too!
Is this a fuse/relay problem?
If so which/what is likely to be the cause?
Cheers guys.

Be careful, if the engine has done a lot of miles. The carbon build up will be removed, which could lead to problems with leaking valve stem seals and burning oil. Tried it on a 320 I had with about 100K and then had to replace the stem seals as the carbon deposits had been removed and they started ...

I've had a similar problem with the temp sensor, took me ages to find out what was the problem. In the end it was the wiring which runs from the sensor back under the inlet manifold, it was perished and causing all sorts things. Eventually the car would not idle correctly as the wires to ther inject...

Oil Leak
I have an 89 325 Sport with the oil cooler.
There appears to quite a big leak coming from the housing which connects the filter and the cooler pipes.
Is this servicable and has anyone else experienced this.
It has happened on another car too!
Cheers
