good tip sid! never thought of that lol, I don't have wickes near me, just a motor factors then a halfords down the road.
ok so it looks like I just need the allen bolt type/width. I tried all mine but none are big ewnough so I'll to purchase a new one/set.

ok had a look at this and its something I think I can attempt myself Looks like a unscrew the bolts let oil drain out, fit the bottom one again and refill oil to the level of the top bolt and then replace?? ok: What oil? check panel - brake light not goin out
Just got the car back from the machenic he replace rear discs and pads and some front bushings.
Now the brake light in the check panel isnt going out. Any simple things to look for or to test? is there a sensor at each brake?

well my si batteries have gone and leaked over everything nearly and everything still works fine
but I wouldn't rukle them out! When you say "flops over to the right " you mean it goes right into the red?

Right, the sport went up to about 3/4 ont he temp guage today in traffic and I've never seen it that high before, It never went above half even when stuck in traffic on a hot day. well I took the sender out and let the fuel out and walla, light came on, stuck it back in and light went out, so its just my fuel guage is a bit funny, not to worry as long as I know how many miles per tank I can get I'm AOK!

no e30 to my knowledge came with a little bulb for the temp guage mate, the hole is there alright though

I replaced the bulb so its good so I suspect the sender or maybe a broken connection along the wires somewhere?

mines similar mate, mine goes down to 3.5L/18miles and stays there even thought I've done another 10 miles or so and no fuel light on. I dunno whats goin on

hi guys, I've a little problem and had it for nearly two years now. ok, Does the low fuel light work off the same line as the clocks and the obc? My fuel guage goes right down below empty and below the light and no light comes on. The obc goes right down to 3.5L/18miles left in tank and then another...

yea I must get it up on a ramp to check. yea juddering when braking although I thought it might be something with warpped discs or similar. Pulling to one side also but I did get my track rod changed a while back and enver got my tracking done so put it down to that.

front knock when conering
when turning hard like in reversing into a car space or something I hear a knock from the front. Sounds like a bushing of some sort? Havn't heard it while driving yet
