Another opinion.....
The lower it is the more it handles like a go kart. (no suspension travel)
Yeh, i know no sus travel means very hard ride and awful when playing cd's but surely if you can make your car handle like a go kart, thats not a bad thing is it????
Well i aint seen any in my local area......
I havent even seen another 325 sport either..
Seen a few 325i but no is's of any sort.
So that makes my mtech 1 get even more looks....!!
OH, Just though of anuvver reason why my e30 rules....
Can always leave my mates s13 200sx for dust on the backroads, even though he is currently running 217bhp...
Ha Ha Ha... no use havin power when u cant use it eh....?
I would say go for number 3 or even number 4... winkeye Cos pickin up a second hand banger these days is cheap as chips. Old man just picked up a j reg fiesta diesel van for 90 quid with tax and test and rs alloys...... So it depends what u will settle for on the 2nd car runaround front.... :) If yo...

Best thing about my e30 is how it sits so low and has an evil presence...
Also the looks i get when i 'accidentally' giv it a little too much boot when changing to second out of a junction....
I can see there shocked faces out of my side window...... he he he
maxfield wrote:Im more leaning towards 1.2 corsa SXI at the moment i like the looks.

Sorry to hear that... But mine was a similar story Took my 325is for mot last feb and it failed on 23 different points, luckily my dad is an engineer and knows everything about cars and fortunately welding so got it done... Maxfield, when you passed ur test make sure you do a pass plus test... Just consists of 120 mile motorway drive and you cant fail.... They just give you pointers at improving.. Some companies dont take the pass plus into account but other insurance companies will almost half your premium....Its alwa...

I dont want a banger something respectable soon as i get a job im saving for my insurance. Then when ive got enough money saved im going to buy an M3. havin somethin new and 'respectable' only means that when it goes wrong it'll go to the garage...diminishing ur savings every time.... Also bu...
maxfield wrote:I do like the lupo GTI there quite nice
Lupos are new and expensive though.. If you are looking to have an m3 in the near future you gotta settle for a banger so you can save money.....Ask your dad if he buys you a banger now then he can help on the purchase of the m3 later....?
How about a Mk2 Golf? I had a 1.3 on a J plate and ran it for 18 months. Bought it for Ԛ£500 and it was mint! And very very cheap to run. Failing that, look at a Polo... much better than a bloody Corsa. Keep it German. Fairplay.... Polos are reliable because of the vw badge... My mate had the ...
But surely buying a 1.0 corsa is more pricey than a little ford of some sort...?
Plus the fact that you can service old fords urself means that they are cheap to run if you look at it like that.... No garages involved...!!!!
Ive just nevva been a fan of any vauxhalls...
Wish i could have M3 as my first car but i hope it will be my 2nd my first will probably be a 1.0 corsa :( Gutted.... Scoobies are very good cars and the only reason they are disliked by some is as chip-3door puts it - chav image. No way a 325i will keep up with on on the twisties! It wil out handle and out drag a 325i. Only a very good 2.7 will outdrag a "standard" scooby. Modified Scoob?.....forget it! Depends o...
Well the bhp per tonne is around 140bhp/t for a 325i and 136bhp/t for a 535i... winkeye As for driving them..... I have found that an e30 is alot more responsive and controllable on the limit.... and the 5series is good no doubt up to the limit but not nice on the limit and after you pass the limit....
At the end of the day there must not be alot innit in terms of weight, both around 1200kg, but a bmw has the obvious advantage of 170bhp whilst the gte is looking at around 150bhp i think.....
thanks peeps, would you class that the 325i is fairly quick, any comparisons, dont think ill be taking a trolly jack with me to a car. im not that cheeky, but ill have a dam good look, Well i have an mtech1 325is and it was quicker than my mates s13 200sx.... (until he chipped and remapped it to 21...
As has been said it is hard to put a price on the car.... but as they are becoming increasingly more rare, and the fact that full service history and low mileage is very important, i would probably pay up to Ԛ£4k for a manual and slightly less for an auto.....
I have also got the grey/black front grille with the eyebrow spoiler....
Looks way better than silver... more evil looking
If you are gonna get a black grill do not colour code the front eyelid spoiler.... it ruins the look.... stick with black.
