All polishes are abrasive, that's how they work!
Really? Including wax?....

Chrome plating is only a thin layer, you shouldn't use anything abrasive on it!

Remember that, ideally, you want to get them stripped, and then you need to polish the surfaces, other wise they will come out a bit dull. But, that might be what you want?

I've got 2 friends with 996's with plenty of finance on them and with mortgages. Perhaps more of a Jersey phenomenon, but will be interesting to see what happens when rates start going up Again, I think you're confusing a 996 with the collectable car market. They are only being dragged a bit higher...

The market is being driven up by people who have the clear funds to buy collectable cars, both in this country, and abroard.

The 996 and E30, are only clinging to the coat-tails of that market though! :)

10k will get you right into the very bottom of the usable 911 ladder, and IMO, it wouldn't be worth it's up keep!

You'd be better off with the best early Boxster, according to Porsche fans, they are a really good car to drive!

The car is unusual as it has Alpina as the manufacturer on the V5.

It is still a gorgeous car, it's in the yard at work, and the staggered alloys still look awesome. I'm negotiating on a quite expensive car, so I can't justify the Alpina just sat there, so would sell, but if that falls through, I will keep it!
