Re:

Thanks for dropping me the e-mails now and then Paul keeping me up to date with the resto.

I am chuffed for you mate. I still miss that car and haven't ruled out buying another one at some point.

It's a beauty.

Re:

Gun - How are you? Im glad you are checking in on this from time to time. I saw your for sale add for the other sport and at first thought you had bought another to replace this one! I noticed the bug in the pics also, did you sell it in the end? I'm doing well thanks. Maybe you don't remember but ...

Re:

Nice one Paul. You'll make a decent one out of it yet.

Regarding my Bug the market is pretty small for a bug with a 2.1 engine so it will take time to find the right person for it.

Yep not bad ta. The e34 Sport is going well but it's not as much fun as the e30. Yeah good job you kept that spare head. Did I not give you the paperwork to confirm it had been checked and pressure tested? I'm down to two VW's now. The 68 bug running with the 2110 stroker motor and the 67 Split scre...

Re: Value of this car??? (325i sport)

Good luck with the Sport Paul. You have a good unabused example there with a few issues that need attention commensurate with it's age. I hope you do well from the spares but keeping the gear box, rad, heater matrix and head will save you buckets of cash should you ever need to use any of them. Don'...

My 1990 Sport - A couple of pics.

Might be coming up for sale as I'm toying with the idea of an e34 Sport but finding one as good as this e30 Sport has been difficult so far. Other than a set of Eibach springs and a Remus stainless back box this car has not been messed around with. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v131/JazzyJeff/BM...

A Sports box will have either TNN or HM stamped in the bell housing outer edge. Anything else and it is not a Sports box.

You might find a part/model number on the siren unit which might allow you to identify it through Scorpion.

You just might be lucky enough for it to be given a Cat D which means no inspection required by DVLA. You will have to get a new MOT though (I think).

I think most Sports I've seen have the battery in the boot but I've also seen Sports with the battery in the boot that still have a battery tray in the engine bay.

Thanks guys. Please forgive my ignorance. I've been driving other Beemas for years but have never looked into the finer details of the e30 Sport. Did the tech 1 have the same rear view mirror with the map reader lights? Are there any other subtle differences? How much difference in size is there bet...

Differences between early and late 325i Sports

Other than the obvious external differences between the early and late cars would someone be able to detail for me any of the other differences between the two e30 Sport versions?

Many thanks.
