As an example the E30 M3 has one of the most primitive and basic ECU's around. Drive one with a Uni-Q fitted configured for no MAF and carbon airbox. You'll think it's been mapped by a manufacturer by the way it starts up and runs. Sal I disagree.....Its Bloody awesome!! Fuel AND ignition timing wi...

Re: E36 compact ARB's on an E30

I'd be tempted to say your coil overs are too stiff for road use, more useful for track work.. your effectively floating above the road surface which is giving you this feeling. how can 1 determine from upgrading to softer springs or replacing ARB with smaller diameter roll bar (22/21mm front to 19...

I had a dastek unichip and maf, removed this with just a schrick cam, bbr chip and still through the gears was quicker through the gears than...

hey, not sure how it is on the cloth, but i fitted some heated elements to a set of leather sport seats. the elements are positioned in the 3 vertical groves of the seat you have to undo the seat from the frame, split the bottom and top part of the seat, then slowly take apart the cloth/leather from...

common fault, water/moisture builds up in the ecu and causes this to happen.

If the re-circulation button is pressed there's two small motors that adjust some additional vents, these close off the outside air and cause the fan to draw in air from above the front foot wells. There should be a wiring plug above the pipes for the heater matrix that may be worth a look if you c...
