hi yall i fitted my obc yesterday all nice n easy no probs all working great ..... went for a drive came home turned the car off and it didnt ......it just stayed running had to stall it to get it to stop .no dash lights on after i stalled it ..and started up again as normal (with a bong from the ob...

hmmm mods ....well being the cheep skate i am .... i got my hands on a cheep 320i and managed to test it for Ԛ£300 all in ,it had 17" fox alloys on it so badly kerbed ,so i wanted wheels the the alternater started to play up so i was looking threw the local adds and found myself an 320se paid 1...

well had to tell yas ive changed my manual windows to electric ones a lot more of a job than i first thought had to cut half the loom out of the floor and replace it with the scrapper one ....but it all works and is sweet :P ..........phil

how big a job is changing the cam belt? i have done quite a bit of diy mechanics but this is one of those jobs ive always been scared of ....is there a thred of how 2 ....do i need any speicalist tools ..... ...............................................................................................

its louder on start up but its still there most the time (my stereos louder lol)its defenatly not the starter as with my head under the bonnet its coming from the front ............ cheers phil

power steering ?

ive manual steering on my 320i ... is it plauseable to take the power steering from a 320se n plonk it straingt on to mine... and if so is it a big job ? ............ cheers phil

yeah checked the fanbelt and changed the alternator as i had a spare ..... was hoping i was just being numb and missing some usual fault that was an easy fix(wishfull thinking) dunno if the timing belt is due but ive the full kit sat here but didnt want to go to the unnessasery expence of paying to ...

hi m8 ive just got a scrapper with a tech 2 kit on it was easyly removed was just clipped under the bottom of the door and poped threw the trim line at the top ill take some pics of the door (with the holes)if you want ...phil

hi all am i corect in thinking ,,,, if i jack the car up on the axel so both wheels are clear from the floor and turn one wheel if the other turns the other way then its an lsd? .....thanks phil :oops:

hi all i own a 320i basic model no toys at all (exept after market mods) ive just gone out and bought a ropey 320 se to strip of parts like leccy windows and alike ,i was wondering if any of the machanical stuff like diff? ecu? or any of the other bits are better than the 320i any info would be grea...
