Re: New M54 engine swap forum.
For the bottom radiator hose, I used one from a Z3 (11531716642) It has the quick connect fitting at the top to mount directly to the thermostat wirthout modification, the lower half of the hose can also be fitted up without modification but I found that it caused the hose to stick out too much and ...

Re: New M52 "Restomod" E30 Project - SPANNER RASH
Just want to say how useful this series has been to me while M54 swapping my E30. Your way of explaining things and how you make sure to get the camera on the important details has made many parts of my project so much easier! From the radiator/fan, seats and steering linkage, to the smaller bits li...

Re: budget big brake kit.
Brilliant thread, in the middle of doing this to my E30 too. One thing I haven't seen mentioned which slipped me up a bit is that the Audi discs have a 65mm centre bore, and the E30 hubs have a 66mm centre boss. Re: New M54 engine swap forum.

I used the typical E28 728i oil pan, pickup, and dipstick tube. I butchered a roofing bolt from a local diy shop to c...

Re: Poly Bush and Suspenson Options
The car doesn’t sound much like a comfy cruiser already. If you have poly engine and gearbox mounts then I’d say you’re already very far down the road of increasing unwanted NVH. Polybushes will make the suspension feel harsher. The B12 kit is good but I know I noticed the difference with the eibac...

Poly Bush and Suspenson Options
Hi all, Apologies if this is in the wrong board, I would't say there's any technical issues, just looking for recomendations. I'm currently swapping my 1990 320i with a M54B30, 6 speed box and 3.15 lsd. I currently have no plans to take this car on the track or drifting, but I'm looking to make a st...
