Plenty, thanks. If you want to argue it, go jump in an s2000, Supra, rx7 or anything with an integrated gear selector/gearbox casing and feel how nice the shift is. If you think a separate gear shift that attaches to the body via a rubber bush and as a result is subjected to the twisting motion of ...

It's the input & layshaft bearings that give these boxes a bad name because of the chatter that many suffer.
E36 boxes were £500 10yrs ago, I doubt you'd find a decent one now.
Si you had a result at £125 and I expect the whiney diff drones out the box !!??

Correct Brian, they made a lot of body kit parts back in the day for E30, E24 & E28 that I've personally seen, quite possibly more.Brianmoooore wrote:IIRC, Pfeba made kit for BMW, and were the suppliers of 'BMW approved' aero. kit in the pre mtech 1 days

Re: Shuddering when driving
There's only 1 type of E30 centre bearing, the year makes no difference and as far as I know if it's been bought from ECP/GSF it will be wrong. I believe they stopped selling the E30 item a while ago and is now main dealer only... E36 items do fit and work but are not correct, I think these are what...

Re: Shuddering when driving
The prop is marked when new at the factory with 2 white dots of paint, so long as these are lined up it will not need balancing and shouldn't vibrate unless its had a slap during removal.
I'd be checking the centre bearing is an E30 item and has been preloaded when fitted...

Turkey joining isn't any different from what we've got with Germanys open door policy. It's completely different. Soon enough 75 million peasants will all be free to move here, claim benefits and drag the NHS down further. The prospect of the EU's borders extending to Iraq, Iran and Syria is not good either... Why anybody would cut the brackets from a 2 door seat and weld them onto a 4 door seat is beyond me.
By far the easiest thing to do is simply swap your covers/bolsters onto the 2 door seat frame.
If you need any seat frames PM me, I've a good stash here
