Re: Intermittant brake light check control
Ignore my last post. I was not thinking laterally enough - the brake light switch (I'm a newbie, but not thick - honest). Also I've found all the previous posts on the matter. Thanks, M.

Re: Intermittant brake light check control
Thanks guys. Sorry for the delay in responding (been away on business) and the newbie question but - what is the nature and location of the 'switch'?

Intermittant brake light check control
I've got an intermittant brake light check control warning. Can anyone give me the top three reasons for such a warning so I can explore them. Cheers. Merod.

Re: Fitting boot badge - sorry if it's a bit basic
Sorry for not being a bit clearer, it's the roundel I'm talking about.
So, no glue to worry about, just pry it off? How is it best re-affixed?

Anyone have a pic of the full kit so I know what I'm looking to buy off of eBay? Many thanks for any help for this newbie.

Re: Fitting boot badge - sorry if it's a bit basic
Removing - Hot water (to soften the glue), Fishing wire (to run round the back of the roundel to 'cut' the glue I presume), Flat head screwdriver (to pry it off). Got it, thanks.
Replacing - Best way to re-affix (glue type, etc)? Ideas, comments?

Fitting boot badge - sorry if it's a bit basic
Apols for the 'simple' question. Bought a boot badge from ebay (seller is positive it's the size of the e30). Question - how do I safely remove the old and put on the new? Cheers. M.

This is not going to happen without greater attendance. Therefore I suggest an alt date of August 26th.

Carpet removal and cleaning
I'm concidering removing my carpet and running a Vax or more industrial carpet cleaner over it. A couple of questions on this - 1. Is it relativley easy to get the carpet out AND back in, 2. Is this worth doing (thoughts from someone who has already done this)? Cheers, Merod.

Just caught up on this thread. I'm in Norwich also. i'd been keen to join a meet. I know that there are pros and cons to using a car cover but can anyone recommend a high end car cover which is a nice sung fit for a saloon?

Seatback as a lost of 'play' in it when in non-tilt position
Second post. Long time viewer, recent owner. Seat back as a lot of 'play' in it when in non-tilt position (5-10cm). Common issue? Any ideas on cause or is it just age?
