I agree that could be the case and therefore new front springs OEM style may be the way to go...however the 4x4 look isnt that appealing either lol

Car is totally standard and i would prefer to keep it that way appearance wise...are the eibach/hr alternatives specific lowering springs or good alternatives to oem?

E30 325i sport suspension advice.
Just put OEM sport rear springs on my 325 sport and now feel the front is sitting too low,or infact i feel the back is a little too high.My question is this: is there an aftermarket quality spring set up that retains standard sport ride height give or take 5mm as i feel buying all 4 now is my only w...

can anyone tell me the differences between these engines and i presume the m44 is still a twin cam?i know its the e36 equivalent,however,just wondering the specific differences.thanks

my neighbour has an e21 316 (i think) stored in her garage and since noticing my interests in older bmws she asked me what its worth.i had a look at it and it needs work cosmetically at the arches and a good clean up,but the car has had the same elderly owner from new who doesnt drive now and has 36...

is this the small loom under the inlet manifold?i could shake these wires before and it would kill a misfire the car had at low revs so i chopped them and put a new plug on them to no avail-should i strip all these wires back?

right-never got the carpet up this wknd as i was more concentrating on the annoying vibrating idle.the car is still shuddering on idle..u can actually feel it vibrating-this is after changing any dubious air hoses and re tightening jubilles and also i changed the blue temp sensor.sorry to be a pain ...

stripped the air intake etc n cleaned it all.to be honest it wasnt that dirty so i checked the air pipes n found a minute split in it so ordered a new 1 and a temp sensor..... then i went on to find the water prob..put a wire down the sunroof tube and it appeared clear..then decided it was time to t...

i should also add maybe that it is using excessive fuel and smelling as if its overfuelling-however the co2 is ok...

i plan to get the carpet up tomorrow-im thinkin the bilkhead plug may be the culprit-but if not the jacking point will be the next assessment.many thanks for all help.

the passenger side seems bone dry..where does the sunroof tube go to??i just put a heater motor in it but i cant see any way in which water can get to that side?

as some of you may know-my neighbour and i acquired a 325i touring as a general runner/project..the car has a couple of probs though that im having difficulty with.once the car is warm it runs lumpy on idle..even vibrating the whole car..had a mess about with some wires etc and it just had plugs,lea...

right-car is pissin me off now-not had chance to clean up icv-however the car continues to rev itself when idling and heated up,occasionally cuts out and it is a pig to start when heated up..also-fuel consumption is a joke-50 miles to 20 quid??any suggestions guys?

not been using my sport much at all recently and its started juddering at low revs wen driving..also likes to rev itself whilst stationary and is using in my opinion a bit to much fuel..sometimes takes two turns to start wen warm also.i know it isnt leads,cap,rotor as i replaced them before xmas and...

two issues to correct-poss leads/dizzy??
hi guys-my neighbours jus bought a cheap 325i touring which has a miss and occasionally struggles to start..i thot it was over fuelling but its not so im guessing the leads,cap,rotor arm maybe??the car seems very lumpy to drive also at low revs/quarter throttle...the 2nd issue is the heater blowers ...

thank you guys..just got a quote of £332 with herts insurance on my 325i sport without using my 3 years ncb..on a classic scheme so im quite impressed,adrian flux offered the same policy for £357 so im seeing light at the end of the tunnel..now just need to find out if when i sell my 325i sport,...

merry xmas guys n girls..and i know this has been covered a million times..but got my insurance renewal through the door and after a year of claim free driving..no points etc..it managed to go up by 300 quid..just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.im 24 with 3 yrs ncb.

well fitted the dme today-and it fired up fine so problem solved as far as i can see-the crank sensor w2as next on the list if that failed-but for the moment im happy again!!thanks for the replies!!
