Sorry guys but these weigh a ton! No they don't - no more than 30kg iirc They should be relatively easy to fab up - bit of tube bent in a couple of places with chassis brackets welded on the end and a 3/8ths steel skidplate welded to the tube and drilled to suit at the back to fit onto the crossmem...

anyone have an e30 sump guard? i have a genuine one(i think), its not the later one which looks like a fire guard. Its the early one i think, that looks like a bent piece of metal with 2 hooks comming out of it. Does anyone have one of these? if so then how do they fit on? Bolt on to the cross memb...

Yep,

cost you £50 for a complete set of adjusters from the stealers - ball bits are fairly cheap, coupla quid each tops iirc

I'm a bit confused here..... I've done a search of the site and read a few articles on changing the belt. My question is... The pully that sits on the front of the crankshaft needs to come off to access the lower timing cover bolts. Do I need to undo the big 22mm nut on the end of the crankshaft to ...

between 28 and 30 mpg if you drive relatively gently - I can get 300+ miles to a 55l tank :D

Cane the a**e off it and you will become very friendly with your local petrol stations :(

Well, I finally got round to doing the regas. Car is a 1989 SA import and although the aircon has not been cold for a long time the system was still slightly presurised.
