why not m44 crank + rods + max. overbore + custom pistons?

Is that pushing the budget?

thanks for the help guys. as you said above, we need a separate anchor point installed. well, i bout one of the proper anchorages, and did a quick dodgy install the night before my inspection. so anyways, the inspector made a not on my papers that said the third anchor point wasnt needed. so that me...

Baby seat in Touring?

Still working on getting rego on my Touring. One of the requirements is to have Anchorage points for child restraint systems.

Are there already anchorage points in the Tourings, and if so, where? Otherwise, i guess it's drill time.

On the 2/4 doors, they are located in the parcel shelf.

Touring brake light

3rd, eye-level brake light.

My Touring needs one to get registered, as it's a private import.

Was there a factory one or anything? Right now mine is fitted with an ugly aftermarket one. Just wondering if there is a more aesthetic option.

Re:

yeah man, worry more about getting an LSD for it.

i like my m42 with 3.9s, cos it gives a bit more headroom for corners on the circuit. but for tight/slow sections, my 4.45 was nuts.

small case to small case, large(medium) case to large case, are both fine.

large to small and vice versa is not poss.

oh, and all diffs are interchangeable internally, so long as the casing size is the same. ie, e36 centres can be used in e30 diffs etc.

honestly. welded diffs are pretty poo for anything other than dedicated drift.

chew tyres, cause the car to understeer (unless you make it oversteer) etc etc.

for a cheap, fun fix maybe. but not for serious driving.

main reason for deleting the AFM/MAF is to make sure you get the most out of the throttles. i know the ITB'd BMW engines still run them, but in all honesty, if you are going to the trouble of fitting ITBs, ideally you'd want to get the most out of them by haveing the intake as de-resticed as possibl...
