Gravity performance SS back box anyone?
Hi, I like the new look of this to replace the Og backbox on my 325i touring. Mainly the price and angled tips. I really like the original sideswept twin exit, but I need more inline 6 sound. (Anyone got one? The pic seems to be upside down on the listing incidentally) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120...

Rear wire colours? For towbar electrics..
Hi folks. I have fitted a towbar to my 325i touring and am trying to identify the wire colours to connect the electrics. Searching has produced surprisingly little other than a list of wire colours which completely doesn’t tally with what I have. As I have a 6 pot I have the roof alert panel and so ...

Re: Bilstein inserts 45mm vs 51mm
Thanks. That would make sense. The vendors must have listed in error, they are sending me 51s so that is all good.

Bilstein inserts 45mm vs 51mm
I have just had a call from my garage to say that the struts I asked them to fit...don’t. There is play around the locking nut. I have done a search and realise that there are 45mm and 51mm front strut diameters. I bought 45mm inserts I am guessing I should have got 51. Dammit. How do I know which d...

Re: 325i Touring
Hi sanchez, yep wasn’t really a planned purchase, but it stuck out on FB classified like a little red jewel shouting buyyyy meeee. Do you mean Barry Yacomini in the ferry? He was great for our F20 but I wondered if Ashton Motors were first choice for the older stuff? Easier to get to for me too. Bef...

Re: 325i Touring
Thanks! Home is North Fife near Dundee, up in the Republic of Sturgonia. Dundee has a great old-BMW specialist and so she - Rhuby - will be off there for her cam belt and squeaky back end. And a general schkekkie to see if he advises anything else.

Winter wheels and tyres
Hi looking for a set of winters for my new to me touring. Nothing fancy, ideally a scruffy set of steels with decent useable winter tyres. I'm happy to organise a courier.
Cheers, Johnny

Hi, I usually drive old Porsches but the kids are too big for the back. I had an old Cayenne which is dying on me, inconveniently..so deffo finally time for a youngtimer beemer wagon! This popped up locally to me in Edinburgh and so I went for it. Brilliant red I think, 1989 sold from Wellsway BMW i...
