Uwe, is bang on tis a great road and trackday pad, no squeal great pad feel and able to deal with high temperatures without destroying your disks

Not 100% on the weight saving but the main saving is they wont shatter in an accident saving you the waiting time in A&E

You can have the fronts Thermoformed now, so can be used in the runners allowing you window opening as per std fitment

avoid P4P. expensive products and not good quality! Perspex is not good and I would go polycarb. I would love to see how rigid that roof is if it is just single skin with no inner frame, my worry there is the amount of movement you will get in that large panel unless it is either made of lots of layers of carbon or Autoclaved ?

This was a road car foremost lets not forget that; same as many other cars out that day and at most trackdays all over the place. Was taking the apex at paddock min 85mph and his laptimes were in 61secs in the morning with little bit of advice I got it down to banging out comfortably consistant 54s...

This car was an extemely solid shell not a piece of rot was visible even after the incident . If it had been rotten it would not have kept the integrity it did. From Memory std bonnet alone is 21kg and the ones i used to make where 5kg ? you would struggle to get a steel skin that light ?

Ferodo DS 3000. The ultimate race pad. NOT street friendly. Will kill your disks in 8k kms... If it kills your disks it cant be a good pad ! we still have moulds and still make loads of parts for the e30 and e36, just not doors, great for race cars only no good on the road trust me, we can do them if someone wants to supply doors ? website will be back up soon.
