Are non BMW's invited? If so, can they do 4WD, or more specifically my Golf 4Motion with the Haldex system.

I have a Seat splitter on mine. Not sure what Seat its off though. I think it makes the car look nice and low and the best bit is that its flexible, so you dont have to worry about catching it on speed bumps ect. i like that! looks to have come of a cupra maybe even an ibiza i think i really like t...

Re: Resistor info needed

Thank you, youve put my mind at rest. I was worried that I might start a fire while sitting in traffic with the air con on. Ive just got to connect it properly now and see if I can find a slightly more suitable area to mount it. Thanks again, I probably should have asked the questions before playing...

Resistor info needed

Ive had to replace the resistor on my air con system but I have a few problems and questions.... 1. The new resistor is different to the old one in apperance and make (new one Bosch, old one Seimens) and therefor will not fit in the place of the old one, does this matter? 2. The new one has a metal ...

Re: Air con gas

If the system is still in good working order, you dont have to convert over to R134a, there are replacement gases one of which is RS24 (I think). I had mine refilled with this by a guy who knew about E30 aircon systems and it works fine now.

Re: My car wont start

Its a single click, but ive just gone back out there and.... it started. It could well be the battery as I only really do short journeys so ive stuck it on charge anyway.

SPADGE - Yes I have tried that, seems to make no odds.

Thanks for you help guys.

As far as I know, there was only one colour dash, black. However, there were different colour centre consuls and glove boxes but I think that was only a choice of black or grey.
