People who try to sell cars to the already converted and state "common fault " as if it is something to by-pass. lol

Mart.
do you mean when people say things like the dash is cracked and then say thats just a common fault. Trying to make it sound like it doesnt matter.

Everyone is using the same lies in their adverts

Im always looking at what E30s are on the market for sale and thought I would make a light hearted post about the common sales techniques (lies) people keep using to try and sell their (usually rubbish) E30s. 1. Dry stored for 10 years (probably stored in a driveway without a cover) 2. (Personal fav...

The Typ Number is the same also I thought there where two variants one with edging one without.

What was it advertised as?

Heckspoiler is German for rear spoiler.

Stick the number in to RealOem to check and to be honest a photo or two speaks a thousand words.
This is what mine is missing.

Have I bought a fake? Please help

I recently purchased a Mtech 1 rear spoiler which I was told is genuine. It has the marking saying something like Elasto... Heckspoiler and a part number on the bottom left as if you were looking at it on the car. However when looking at others for sale I see that they have a little BMW logo and par...

funny, I just did a search, no DVLA E30 numbers available, and it says you have to bid at auction - give us a link to where you're looking? Paul :-) The registrations are E3O not E3(Zero) - the letter instead of the number. This is the DVLA link where I bought mine from - https://dvlaregistrations....

Aint those plates pretty pricey from DVLA?

Paul :-)
Currently £399 which is the bottom end of number plate prices and they make a nice E30 accessory, especially if you manage to get your initials.

Any other M10 lovers?

I understand that some people want power and therefore remove the mighty M10 but wondering if there are others like myself who love the M10 engine and wouldnt remove it. I find the engine is more than capable of putting a smile on my face everytime I take the old girl out for a spin. I expect someon...

Yup, I've got a 316 carby that I'm using as a daily driver. Seems to be working fine so far, despite the battle with the cooling system when I first bought it! I imagine If I owned a more expensive 320/325 I'd be more apprehensive to drive it. But then if ya don't, seems a shame! Having owned a 316...

Not sure that BMW made reliable cars, here in Germany BMW stands for "bring mir Werkstatt" as the common myth is that Beeema's spend half their life in the shop.
With the things ive heard, this is very true of newer cars and has put me off buying an e46.

Any E30 daily drivers ?

Seems a lot of people only get their cars out in summer. As we all know the E30s were made at a time when BMW made quality cars and thats why alot of ...

I understand your dislike of this chav but I would expect nothing less from the type of person who has a max power Silvia. Whereas it is hard for me to see how my standard 318 apart from a aftermarket backbox is causing issues whilst idling.
