just on his point with the AFM.....
Mine is on the air let side of the turbo.... but i have seen many on the intake side in front of the inlet manifold
which is better ? mine seems to work fine...... but it would make sense in front of the inlet man !

Did you use the 300mm.de engine mounts?? how did the 300mm.de engine mounts go ?

this might sound like a stupid question because i havent done my conversion yet but......
The standard manifold dont fit i assume ? where does it hit on or come close to?
do they need to be fabbed or can you just alter them a bit

A few Q's.....
Could you use the standard 325i transmission mounts ? would that just give you a 10deg twist in the box ?
Did you use the m5 flywheel, oil pan etc ?
You had to shorten the propshaft by how much? Will the box be ok with the standard diff ratio ?

well.... i dont have the zf box and i dont really know where to get the propshaft shortened and re balanced etc. At least if i use the 260 with the same propshaft, flywheel etc i dont have to spend load more on parts. These parts are hard to get and very expenisve in Australia, so im trying to use w...

s50 conversion with getrag 260 ?
I have been researching and have been told that you can use your standard e30 325i box with the s50 conversion
Is this true ? or is it only for the US S50 ?
I will be paying for my engine today........ but it will be no good if i cnat use my current box

Im planning my s50 conversion and wonder what dramas lie with using the 6 speed box into my s50 conversion 325iS ???
Its either use the 6 speed or use the standard e30 325iS box (260 i think?)
